I had fun attending the workshop(though it was tiring since we have to use our brain all the time) and it is very useful to what I am doing. Delhi sightseeing on the last day is also an eye opener for me. A very beautiful city. A mixed of ancient time building with a modern twist I would say. Originally I wanted to go to Agra, to visit Taj Mahal. It will take me 4 hours on the road and since I travel alone the cost is quite expensive, around 4000 rupees(RM285). I would not have enough time to travel to Agra, visit Taj Mahal and return to Delhi for my flight. So I decided to go for Delhi sighseeing(recommended by the participants of the workshop).
I was not expecting anything.
My first stop is Lotus Temple
Lotus Temple is the temple for the Bahai Faith people. Nice view from the outside, but a simple decor on the inside.
Next is Humayun Tomb. Humayun Tomb is a really big place. I was not aware of it until I walk passed the second gate! This is the very first view of the place. So I was like...okay this will maybe take me an hour to complete.
And then I walk pass gate after gate after gate.
Until I saw this building.
Exactly like Taj Mahal! I took at least 2 and half hour to complete all the buildings. My tour guide told me usually people will take 4hours at least to have a good look at everything.
The next stop is Purana Quila.
More or less the same style of buildings. It really shows the islamic architectural structure.
Finally the India Gate
