The Blabber

I received an email a week ago requesting me to attend an interview in PJ. I saw the advert for the job posting and I was really interested with the remuneration package. So what the heck..I decided to go for it.

So I went to the recruitment agency office (yes it is an application through agency) and started to fill up all the details (which are mostly in my CV duhh)...and 10 mins after I submit the form the person calls my name for the interview.

As usual..they told us to give a short introduction of ourselves...working experience blablabla until this question came up...

Miss J: Would you consider to go into customer service line? Helpdesk?

Me: Yes I would.

Miss J: You are required to work in shift and most probably working on the weekends. Do you have any problems with that?

Me: I don't mind.

Miss J: Are you sure? Because the shift hours will makes you sometime don't have enough sleep and to deal with customers is not an easy task.

Me: I really don't mind and it is understandable. To be honest if the salary is up to the standard I would consider.

Miss J: Do you own a transport?

Me: Yes

Miss J: A car?

Me: (no. an lrt! of course a car) Yes.
I gave her an uncomfortable look but not so obvious. Still trying hard to smile.

Miss J: So you will not mind to drive to Shah Alam or Cyberjaya from Cheras?

Me: Yes I don't.

Miss J: But you said you quit your previous job in Shah Alam because of the location...too far...

Me: As I explained earlier..previously I DON'T HAVE A TRANSPORT. And now I do. I had to use ktm and the service is really poor..so...

Miss J: Oh ok. So you don't have any problems to go to customer service...blablabla..
she is really trying to intimidate me by explaining all those bad experience I've long heard from my friends

Me: Miss, I REALLY DON'T MIND..I've heard all sorts of customer complaints from my friends since they are in the industry...doesn't have to go back home and cry about it. It is understandable and I will absolutely adapt to that kind of environment...honestly..for me...it is all about the money...again..if the salary is not as much as the working requirements...I wouldn't want to consider it at all...If the job required me to work for 12hrs and to work on the weekends all that matters to me is how much they are willing to pay...
then I gave that determination look over the confident look with my hands flying up in the air trying to make Miss J understands what I meant.

Miss J: Ok. Thats all. I will give you a call once you are selected.

and there goes my chance. stupid mouth.
